Cadbury and Birmingham

So, i'm a little late in this blog and I apologize. Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure of going to the World of Chocolate in England: Cadbury World. Oh, delicious chocolate. Those of you that think Hersey's is good...has never had Cadbury. Well, when we got there, we got a few pieces of chocolate, which everyone immediately ate, even though it was only 10 in the morning. No one cares when it comes to this stuff! We walked through the Aztec forest, learning all about the cocoa bean, etc, and how we got chocolate. No one really seemed to pay attention. We had other things on our mind...

After watching a few videos about the Cadbury brothers, and their chocolate endeavors, we got to look through the packaging plant. Well, low and behold, nothing was going on. It actually wasn't a working packaging area, we just got to see the conveyor belt go around in a circle...woo hoo. Can't you imagine the excitement on everyone's faces?!?

We did go on a Bean Mobile, which we sat in this cart and went around this little "cocoa bean city/thing" like going through the "It's a Small World" ride at Disney World. It was kinda weird, lol

We did get to write out name in chocolate, and watch a demonstration of homemade chocolate shells. That was pretty cool, and the guy was nice. After going to the giftshop and spending about 30 pounds on all chocolate, I decided to get out of there. It wasn't as fun as I thought it would be...but I got plenty of chocolate for people.

Next we headed to Birmingham, where they have the Bullring. It has nothing to do with bulls though. It's a huge shopping place. Over 160 soccer field length area full of cafes, shops, etc. We only had 3 hours there so we didn't really conquer much. but itwas still fun. Then we headed back.

Sorry this blog is so tiny! That weekend wasn't exactly an action pack weekend. Wait til you read Paris here in a few days! Love ya!
